How wonderfully adorable and precious the kitten years are. Full of non stpo mischief, heart bursting cuteness, and forever memories. I still remember the very day Helio arrived. He had actually been flown over from his first family in Brisbane, who initially birthed him. I was barely 16, and all my life I had so desperately wanted a cat. When my parents finally gave in and allowed Helio to come home, I was ecstatic. He arrived in this carrier cage that he still uses today, and he was absolutely tiny. He was and still is an extreme scaredy cat. The slightest noise from anywhere will make him jump, no matter how many times it happens. Even something like clearing your throat or coughing can give him a jolt. But miraculously, he is an extremely curious cat. Even when he first came, he was always peering his head to a new part of the house, always shyly and carefully exploring. This curiousity is truly one worthy of a cat, a part of Helio that always stuck. Once in the house, he quickly became accustomed to being pampered and spoilt, and never looked back.
